Oatmeal has so many crazy health benefits but if you've ever been a student in the school of carb-cutting, oatmeal might seem like one of those foods you totally wish you could eat, except it would probably destroy your weight-loss goals. That's not necessarily the case, says one dietitian who's offering a healthy serving of tips to make your bowl of oatmeal actually "promote weight loss," she explains. You don't have to shy awayyou can eat oatmeal and still get in shape!

Katey Davidson, MScFN, RD, CPT (via Healthline) says: "[S]ome versions of oatmeal are healthier than others . . . No matter your weight goals, you can make small changes to your oatmeal to help you either gain or lose weight."

If you're trying to shed pounds, Davidson recommends opting for rolled or steel cut oats, which she says "are less processed, higher in fiber, and lower in sugar" than other kinds of oatmeal, like instant brands.

Especially in the morning when your tummy might be roaring, it's tempting to drop a heaping scoop of oats into that pot or bowl. However, remember that a standard serving size of oats is a half-cup dry.

Davidson says a half-cup of rolled oats will deliver 150 calories (minus your liquid, if you're cooking with any kind of milk), 5 grams of protein, and 4 grams of fiber.

Yes, the flavored packet of maple and brown sugar or peaches and cream oatmeal might transport you blissfully back to childhood but even if you buy what some brands market as "better-for-you" flavored oatmeal with added protein or lower sugar, it's super important to keep an eye on the sugar content if you're trying to drop pounds. That's partly because, as Davidson explains, added sugar can impact your blood sugar and cause hunger and low energy not long after you eat.

If you're craving some flavor in your oatmeal (who can blame you?), Davidson says you could get creative with pantry staples, such as a sprinkle of cinnamon or a small drop of vanilla. And, to add more nutrition, consider adding fresh or frozen fruit (yeah, bananas, mangoes, and berries!) or a scoop of good protein powder (here's how to find the right one).

MARRIED at First Sight Australias Alycia Galbraith has revealed her incredible FIVE stone weight loss in staggering before-and-after shots.

The star first shot to fame in January 2018 during the fifth season of the popular reality show, where she was coupled up with Mathew Lockett.

Plumber Mat, 34, and the beauty, 31, looked like they were meant to be together when they first locked eyes at the start of the show.

But things took a turn for the worse and they broke up before the final decision was made.

Although Alycia didn't manage to successfully find herself a man during her stint on the programme, she's been victorious in other parts of her life.

She managed to shed a whopping 30kg after a doctor told her she was obese in her early 20s.

The star took to Instagram a month after her series aired to share her transformation with the world - despite originally wanting to keep it a secret.

She told her 49.6k followers: "SUPER nervous to post this, but here we go...(please be kind!)

"When the producers on Married at First Sight learnt about my weight loss journey, I was asked if I had any photos of myself at my biggest to include in my backstory, as it is a significant part of my life.

"I said no to sharing photos initially as it is hard to look at them myself let alone have others judge me!"

Alycia admitted that she wasn't a happy person when she was at her biggest and turned to food to help her cope with her bad relationship, battle with endometriosis and toxic friendships.

She continued: "Literally the only reason I said yes to sharing my story in the end is because I was promised that it would help people and I really hope it can.

"People ask me how I succeeded in changing my appearance and I truly believe that a positive mind attracts wonderful things - this is where my transformation began.

"I grew mentally determined to become a healthy person purely for myself and my body followed.

"I got rid of anything/anyone toxic in my life, altered my diet and within 3 months I lost the first 12kgs.

"Over time Ive managed to lose more than 30kgs and now feel the best I ever have!"

Her weight loss journey inspired her to go on and publish her own eBook - Transformation by Alycia Galbraith - to help others change their lives for the better.

After being diagnosed as obese in her early 20s, she was later told she had body dysmorphic disorder.

The beauty managed to turn her life around after a "great deal of hard work and soul searching" and has never looked back.

In July 2019 she shared another set of before and after pictures and opened up about how she felt on the inside before losing weight.

She explained that she always pretended to be happy and put on a front to hide what was going on inside.

She told fans: "This same girl lost enough weight to take her from obesity to a healthy weight range, summoned the courage to do a swimsuit shoot for a popular magazine as well as bared her soul and shared her story on national television!

"She did things she wasnt sure were possible, and grew to be the woman on the right, a woman who loves and has a great deal of respect for herself."

From developing so much as a person, the star also offers services as a personal confidante for people who are struggling and need someone to talk to.

Since her split with Mat, Alycia has kept her love life extremely close to her chest.

Whilst Mat reportedly moved on with co-star Charlene Perera, Alycia opened up about her new relationship in February 2020.

The star revealed that she was moving to Melborne to live with him, but decided to keep his identity a secret.

She told her followers: "This is a very special year, its so lovely to have a Valentine of my very own Thats right I am in a relationship. And I have moved to Melbourne to live with this sweet man of mine.

But due to the stress of Covid-19, things didn't last long between the pair and she announced their split three months later.

"I am heartbroken to share with you all that my whirlwind romance has now ended," Alycia wrote in a lengthy Instagram post about their break-up.

The Taliban militants of Afghanistan have grown richer and more powerful since their fundamentalist Islamic regime was toppled by U.S. forces in 2001. In the fiscal year that ended in March 2020, the Taliban reportedly brought in US$1.6 billion, according to Mullah Yaqoob, son of the late Taliban spiritual leader Mullah Mohammad Omar, who revealed the Talibans income sources in a confidential report commissioned by NATO and later obtained by Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty.In comparison, the Afghan government brought in $5.55 billion during the same period. The government is now in peace talks with the Taliban, seeking to end their 19-year insurgency.I study the Talibans finances as an economic policy analyst at the Center for Afghanistan Studies. Heres where their money comes from. 1. Drugs $416 millionAfghanistan accounted for approximately 84% of global opium production over the past five years, according to the United Nations World Drug Report 2020. Much of those illicit drug profits go to the Taliban, which manage opium in areas under their control. The group imposes a 10% tax on every link in the drug production chain, according to a 2008 report from the Afghanistan Research and Evaluation Unit, an independent research organization in Kabul. That includes the Afghan farmers who cultivate poppy, the main ingredient in opium, the labs that convert it into a drug and the traders who move the final product out of country. 2. Mining $400 million to $464 millionMining iron ore, marble, copper, gold, zinc and other metals and rare-earth minerals in mountainous Afghanistan is an increasingly lucrative business for the Taliban. Both small-scale mineral-extraction operations and big Afghan mining companies pay Taliban militants to allow them to keep their businesses running. Those who dont pay have faced death threats.According to the Talibans Stones and Mines Commission, or Da Dabaro Comisyoon, the group earns $400 million a year from mining. NATO estimates that figure higher, at $464 million up from just $35 million in 2016. 3. Extortion and taxes $160 millionLike a government, the Taliban tax people and industries in the growing swath of Afghanistan under their control. They even issue official receipts of tax payment.Taxed industries include mining operations, media, telecommunications and development projects funded by international aid. Drivers are also charged for using highways in Taliban-controlled regions, and shopkeepers pay the Taliban for the right to do business. The group also imposes a traditional Islamic form of taxation called ushr which is a 10% tax on a farmers harvest and zakat, a 2.5% wealth tax. According to Mullah Yaqoob, tax revenues which may also be considered extortion bring in around $160 million annually. Since some of those taxed are poppy growers, there could be some financial overlap between tax revenue and drug revenue. 4. Charitable donations $240 millionThe Taliban receive covert financial contributions from private donors and international institutions across the globe. Many Taliban donations are from charities and private trusts located in Persian Gulf countries, a region historically sympathetic to the groups religious insurgency. Those donations add up to about $150 million to $200 million each year, according to the Afghanistan Center for Research and Policy Studies. These charities are on the U.S. Treasurey Departments list of groups that finance terrorism. Private citizens from Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Iran and some Persian Gulf nations also help finance the Taliban, contributing another $60 million annually to the Taliban-affiliated Haqqani Network, according to American counterterrorism agencies. 5. Exports $240 millionIn part to launder illicit money, the Taliban import and export various everyday consumer goods, according to the United Nations Security Council. Known business affiliates include the multinational Noorzai Brothers Limited, which imports auto parts and sells reassembled vehicles and spare automobile parts.The Talibans net income from exports is thought to be around $240 million a year. This figure includes the export of poppy and looted minerals, so there may be financial overlap with drug revenue and mining revenue. 6. Real estate $80 millionThe Taliban own real estate in Afghanistan, Pakistan and potentially other countries, according to Mullah Yaqoob and the Pakistani TV Channel SAMAA. Yaqoob told NATO annual real estate revenue is around $80 million. 7. Specific countriesAccording to BBC reporting, a classified CIA report estimated in 2008 that the Taliban had received $106 million from foreign sources, in particular from the Gulf states.Today, the governments of Russia, Iran, Pakistan and Saudi Arabia are all believed to bankroll the Taliban, according to numerous U.S. and international sources. Experts say these funds could amount to as much as $500 million a year, but it is difficult to put an exact figure on this income stream. Building a peacetime budgetFor nearly 20 years, the Talibans great wealth has financed mayhem, destruction and death in Afghanistan. To battle its insurgency, the Afghan government also spends heavily on war, often at the expense of basic public services and economic development.[Deep knowledge, daily. The government might also see substantial new revenue flow in from legal sectors now dominated by the Taliban, such as mining. Gemma has thrown herself into the festive period during the past week, by modelling her Christmas threads, filming her Christmas TV special and recording her own Christmas charity single.

However, although she has slimmed down, the self-confessed diva has admitted to gorging on cheese and wine as well.

Gemma said, when not at work, she's been stuck indoors indulging in her favourite foods for weeks - but has refused to give herself a hard time over it.

"I'm a huge advocate of eating chia seeds for weight loss," says Natalie Knezic, Health&Wellness Coach with expertise in weight-loss, weight management, and digestive health. "Chia seeds are staples in my kitchen and high on my favorite foods list, as they are among the healthiest, most nutrient-dense foods on the planet."

Despite their tiny size, chia seeds are full of essential nutrients and very filling, and are therefore excellent for losing weight. "They are a great source of omega-3 fatty acids, soluble fibers, and proteins," says Knezic. "Results from several recent studies suggest that adults who consume nuts, such as pistachios, may have a lower body weight and decreased prevalence of health risks such as heart disease and metabolic syndrome. They also tend to have better diets compared to people who don't regularly eat pistachios. Pistachios are also a complete proteinideal for vegans and vegetarians."

In fact, a new study published in the journal Nutrients reveals how pistachios may indeed be your new weight-loss secret weapon. The study, conducted by researchers at the University of California, San Diego, followed 94 adults of varying body sizefrom slim and healthy to obeseas they embarked on the same weight-loss program. The only difference? Half of the participants added 1.5 ounces of pistachios to their diet, while the other half didn't. Though participants across the board lost weight, the ones who ate pistachios had much rosier biometrics at the end of the trial. On Tuesday, the news anchor shared two photos of her on a scale.

One had her weighed in at 172.2 lbs., while the more recent snap showed that she weighed 165.0 lbs.

Theself-confessed diva, 39, looked slimmer than ever after dropping 3stone, as she tried to cheer up fans by wishing them a "magical Monday".

Last week she got apainful "jawline tightening" treatment to make herself look permanently contoured.

She filmed herself getting the procedure and told fans: "Girls, if any of you are trying to contour your face, this is the best girl to do it. Ive got no filter, I've got nothing on my face."

This Clever Technique Will Help You Lose Weight and Stay Fit – Slate

John thinks he knows the formula for losing weight: increase his exercise and quit the peanut M&Ms. He has a strong incentive to get fitat 72 and about to retire, he wants not only to have more energy to play pickleball and travel, but also to reduce his blood pressure medication. But for some reason, John cant stay in the right headspace to actually make the change. On a recent episode of How To!, Katy Milkman, a behavioral economist at the University of Pennsylvania and host of the podcast Choiceology, shares the science behind why we hold ourselves back from making real change and, moreover, how we can engineer our way into healthier, happier lives. With the right set up, the most difficult thingslike losing weightmay be easier andmore enjoyable than we thought. This transcript has been condensed and edited for clarity.

Charles Duhigg: Katy, what was your path to studying how people change their behaviors?Katy Milkman: My passion was engineering, but I found myself outside of the classroom wondering about self-control problems that I had and that my friends had. I was always curiouswhy we can solve very sophisticated problems and build bridges effectively, but we cant solve our own very simple problems?

I had issues trying to get myself to the gym at the end of a long day. I was a very competitive tennis player in high school and college, but I quit the varsity tennis team halfway through college. I still really wanted to stay in shape, but I struggled to find ways to get myself to the gym at the end of a long day of classes because I was tired. All I really wanted to do was lie down on the couch and watch TV or curl up with a good book. I realized maybe I can solve both of these problems in the very same way. So I concocted a scheme where I allowed myself only to enjoy those kinds of indulgencesspecifically I got really into audio novelswhen I was exercising. I would come home from a long day and I would find myself looking forward to a workout because I was gonna get to find out what happens next in my latest novel. Time flew when I was at the gym. It was really fun to workout. I call that temptation bundling and Ive studied it and showed that its not just meit can be useful for other people as well.

Charles: John, what do you feel like youre struggling with the most when it comes to weight loss? Is there something you could apply this idea of temptation bundling to?

John: Right now I find that one of my challenges is my wife, my second marriage. With the pandemic, my wife has been cooking cakes, so Im not watching my meals and Im eating unhealthy snacks or too much or the wrong food. If theres sugary things in the house, then thats where I migrate. The other day, for instance, our daughter-in-law brought us food from the store and at the last minute my wife says, Oh, get a big jar of peanut M&Ms.

Charles: Oh no.

John: They sit there on the counter. Since last Saturday Ive done great because I visualized that my wife had sneezed in the container! I thought, Oh no way am I going to have a handful of those now. And then last night I just had to have a handful of peanut M&Ms. If they hadnt been there, I never wouldve thought of that.

Katy: Food is a tough one. When I use it in temptation bundling, its usually the temptation component. What you can do is find a way to ensure that for every meal you have options ready that you are going to enjoy even if they arent peanut M&Ms. Another big thing to think about is restricting your access to that unhealthy food. It sounds like your environment is filled with temptations if youve got these peanut M&Ms on the counter and your wife is baking cakes. I think you need to work with your wife on creating that environment in your home so that you purge the unhealthy snacks as much as possible or put them in a locked cabinet that shes got the combination for, so if she doesnt want to restrict herself, theres a way to restrict you at least.

Charles: If you went to your wife and you said, Honey, I love you. But I dont love the fact that there are cakes around me. Can we take all the sweets and put them in a locked cabinet? And you have the key. How do you think shed react to that?

John: In general, I think shed be supportive. We dated in high school, went our separate ways, then got back together 40 years later. In some ways, its a perpetual honeymoon, but in a couple of ways, there are some challenges in our relationship. Shes more in the camp of we are who we are and we cant change. And Im more in the camp of Oh, we can always change. Thats what life is all about. And we kind of butt heads over that sometimes. When it gets distilled down to talking about eating, if I want to pay a lot of attention to the food I eat, she sees it as obsessing. I know she feels hurt if I dont want to eat whatever she cooks, so I havent actually talked to her about some of these things. But I absolutely need to do that. I will actually. I will commit to doing that.

Charles: Katy, what John is saying makes sensethe things that we struggle with are so influenced by the people around us and in their attitudes to the change that were trying to create. What do we know about the science behind this?

Katy: Absolutely. Its so social. We have a lot of evidence supporting everything you just said the people around us are a huge contributor to our behavior. So if everybody around you starts eating more, youre much more likely to do the same and vice versa. John, if your wife decided she wanted to cut back, you would be likely to eat a little bit less and lose a little bit more. Trying to get on the same page is going to be really valuable for your success. With my dad, for example, Ive been very worried about his physical activity levels, so I convinced him to buy a Fitbit, which I also have. We have the ability to see each others stepsand he knows Im watching. In fact, he confessed to me that his steps werent uploading and he spent 2 hours on the phone with Fitbit support because he was so upset that I would think he hadnt walked enough that day.

Often a big opportunity is to figure out a third-party perspective on any kind of disagreement youre currently having with your partner. How would another person see this conflict and what would they think? This can help relieve some of the emotional tension. Maybe see if your wife would be open to thinking about your desire to lose weight from a third-party perspective. [Especially as you approach your retirement], this moment can feel like a breaking point from normal moments. Ive done research on the moments when people are more likely to try to make a change in their lives, and what weve found is the start of a new era, the start of your retirement years, the start of a new decade, even something as trivial as the start of a new week, help us step back and think big picture. What are our goals? That motivates us to start new projects and feel more separated from our past failings. For example, I had always wanted to write a book and just hadnt gotten up the nerve to do it. At the same time, my husband and I had been thinking about moving. We had a young son. We were ready to be out of an apartment and into a house. The day that we signed and became owners of a new house is the day that I sent out emails to agents and started the book-writing process. I just finished writing a book called How to Change. So the new house was the thing that pushed me over. It was a new era.

Charles: Okay, but what happens when the fresh start doesnt work so smoothly?

Katy: Yes, youre going to slip up. Nobodys perfect. One risk when you make plans to change like this is something called the what-the-hell effect. (I love that theres an academic term called the what-the-hell effect.) A challenge with this kind of rigid plan is youll never actually live up to all of your objectives. A big problem can be when you slip up saying, Oh, what the hell, I give up. If you have a plan for the day and you eat a cinnamon bun for breakfast because your wife just made a beautiful cinnamon bun, then you say, Oh, what the hell? Let me just have a steak and fries and pie for lunch. So when you have a plan you also have to think what will happen when you slip off track. What will you do? How will you get back on track? How will you forgive yourself? And how do you avoid slipping off track all the time and being too forgiving? Theres a sort of tightrope you have to walk. But if you can make progress for a month, even when you lose motivation little, you probably wont fall all the way off the wagon because you do build some habits. In my studies, about 30 percent of the behaviors we start doing for a month around, say, exercise, tend to stickeven if all of the tricks weve been using to put those good behaviors in place are pulled away. Habit can be really helpful.

Just one last thing to keep in mind is something called a commitment device. There are actually a couple of different websites you can use where you can put money down that youll forfeitor even send to a charity you hateif you fail to achieve some stated goal. Nike has made the Just Do It model such a part of our culture. But the research so consistently shows that its just not that easy. Our motivation does wax and wane. We need these systems. You have to recognize that it wont be easy to just do it. Willpower is hard. When you see that temptation, you reach for it. So the more you can do to structure the choices to help yourself, the better.

John: That might actually work. If I was going to commit $500 to Donald Trumps campaign, I think I would lose the weight in two days.

HER most famous role was as Fat Amy but Rebel Wilson is having the last laugh after losing 4st.

This week the comedy actress showed off her slimmed-down figure in a series of Instagram posts.

Referring to the name of her Pitch Perfect character, the Aussie captioned one selfie: Just call me Fit Amy.

It comes after superstar singer Adele, 32, revealed the results of her own 7st weight loss through training and better food choices.

In January, Rebel announced this would be her Year of Health.

She told how her impending 40th birthday, as well as suffering mental health issues over Hollywoods attitude to weight, had encouraged her decision to overhaul her lifestyle.

She said: Its not like I want to lose weight and get to a certain number. Its more than that.

Its about dealing mentally with why I was overeating and I had a job where I was paid a lot of money to be bigger at times, which can kind of mess with your head a bit.

Rebel previously said she associated being bigger with being funnier after casting someone larger than her in a play and that actress getting more laughs.

She said: I dont know if it was mega-conscious, but I thought, How can I get more laughs? Maybe if I was a bit fatter . . . And then suddenly I was fatter, and doing comedy.

Here we take a look at Rebels impressive transformation since the start of the year.

SHE likes to tag her years so that her resolution lasts for 12 months, and told her 8.8million Instagram fans: For me, 2020 is going to be called The Year of Health.

"I went out for a walk, deliberately hydrating on the couch right now and trying to avoid the sugar and junk food, which is going to be hard after the holidays Ive just had, but Im going to do it!

Whos with me in making some positive changes this year?

Weighing 16st at the start of the year, her goal was to slim down to 11st 8lb.

REBEL arrived on our shores to present the Bafta Best Director award.

Her hilarious speech, in which she joked that her black and red gown was made from a dress she wore to a funeral for the film Cats, went down a storm.

Despite critics savaging the musical, it was Rebels role as Jennyanydots that helped kickstart her fitness goals.

Dancing in the hot, furry costume meant she quickly dropped weight. Rebel said: I lost 8lb shooting my number in four days.

One, because theres a lot of physicalities but also they heated up the set very high, to almost 37C so we could never cool down.

The comedian enlisted the help of Colombian personal trainer, Jono Castano, five to seven days a week.

THE actress celebrated her 40th birthday at Disneyland and looked noticeably slimmer in a fitted black dress and Minnie Mouse ears.

Jono doesnt like the word diet, but instead talks about finding balance.

He insisted on Rebel sticking to a structured workout regime and taking progress pictures for motivation.

REBEL posted a throwback picture to her stay at the five-star VivaMayr wellness centre, in Austria, last year.

It is thought this is where she first discovered the Mayr Method, a diet which eliminates snacking, reduces gluten and dairy intake and promotes mindful eating.

She wrote: I would walk around this lake every day (which is coincidentally where they filmed the James Bond movie Spectre). Its so beautiful and as were all realising right now, health is so important.

The Mayr Method was developed by Doctor Franz Xaver Mayr around 1901. He believed good digestion equals good health equals happiness.

Guests at the wellness centre, based on his teachings, are told to refrain from using their phones and watching TV, must leave five hours between meals and chew each mouthful between 30 and 40 times to aid digestion.

It also encourages silence at meal times so that guests can concentrate on chewing.

WHILE many of us pigged out on take-aways and banana bread, Rebel stuck to her new regime with an iron will.

Jonos workouts included weighted bicep curls, shoulder presses and weighted planks, in which Rebel performed a plank with a bell weight balanced on her back.

He said: Exercise is just about getting the body moving.

"So, its important to combine resistance and cardio to mix things up so your body doesnt get bored or used to your workout plans.

SYDNEY-born Rebel started incorporating the citys famous Opera House into her workouts.

She posted a video of her epic step challenge, in which she completed 30 laps up and down the venues stairs.

The previous week, Rebel had managed 25, and told her followers that she was already improving.

The actress, who also has homes in Hollywood and New York, would use the 5km walk from her 2million apartment to Sydney Opera House as her warm up and cool down.

She shared a picture of herself flexing her muscles, from inside her home overlooking the harbour.

WHEN Rebel hit the halfway mark she told her followers she likes to wake early for 6am hikes and adds in a few 100m sprints.

She joked her pace is someone elses slow jog but added: Even if you have to crawl towards your goals, keep going, it will be worth it.

The actress, who shared a snap of herself in matching blue sportswear overlooking Palm Beach, Florida, also took up boxing.

SURFS up! As an Aussie, it was about time Rebel learned to catch a wave.

She took her first surfing lesson while in Malibu, California, and proudly shared a video of herself in her wetsuit and balancing on the board.

In a separate post, she told fans how their support had helped her to avoid eating sweets.

She said: Thanks for all the love so far on my Year of Health journey.

When I was reaching for the candies last night after dinner I thought to myself, Hmm, better not and had a bottle of water instead.

"17lbs to go until I hit my goal, hopefully I can do it by the end of the year.

REBEL is glowing but it isnt all down to her healthy diet and exercise regime.

The comic revealed she is in a relationship with billionaire Jacob Busch, with a snap of them boarding a helicopter to Monaco.

The couple, who met last year through mutual friends, were on their way to Prince Albert IIs Planetary Health gala with actresses Helen Mirren and Kate Beckinsale.

During a trip on a yacht that month, Rebel joked about doing bicep curls using a 4.5-litre bottle of vodka as a weight.

Jacob, whose family founded the Anheuser-Busch brewery which produces Budweiser beer and is said to be worth 10.3billion, runs dairy-free ice cream firm, Napps.

When Rebel posted a bathroom selfie last week, Jacob, 29, commented: Beautiful.

ALL her hard work has paid off as Rebel announced she has just 6lb to go until she reaches her goal.

Weighing 12st and with almost three months to go, there is no doubt Rebel will hit her target weight in time for Christmas.

She told her social media followers the secret to her success is allowing the odd treat.

Posing on her balcony with a dessert, she captioned the picture: Remember though girls, you still gotta treat yourself.

I just do it with food now only once or twice a week and substitute bubble baths on alternate nights.

Her Amazon Prime show Only One Laughing in which comedians are not allowed to laugh at each others jokes is a success and she has announced her first childrens book, Bella The Brave, will be published next year.

She wore her long blonde hair down during the outing.

Wendy revealed her impressive weight loss during the season 12 premiere of her daytime talk show.

She told her fans: "I'velost 25 lbs... And I didn't do it on purpose. It's just that food became disgusting to me. You know I was cooking at first, and it was all good. I'm shoveling stuff in my mouth.

"I'm going out to eat... everything from hot dogs to lobster, king crab legs all that stuff. But then it became like I'm done with food."

She continued: "And then I got my colonoscopy. TMI?... But I got my colonoscopy over quarantine... And she asked me to get on a scale before they put me under because you know they have to know how much you weigh. And she told me the weight I was like. I haven't weighed this little since high school.

The host revealed during a following episode of her show that she's considering getting a breast reduction.

She said during the Hot Topics segment: What I forgot to tell you guys yesterday when I was talking about those 25 pounds is that, my doctor, because I said how much do my boobs weigh?

"So, he goes, Like three pounds a piece.'

Well, I will get a reduction when Id like to. But right now, Im still having fun."

While she's been enjoying her slimmer figure, Wendy recently went through a difficult time while divorcing her ex husband Kevin Hunter.

They were granted a divorce by a judge in January after 22 years of marriage.

The former couplesold their New Jersey mansionfor less than $1.5 million in August, which was put on the market for $2 million in 2019.

Wendy will keep their Florida home, while Kevin will keep the money they made from selling their Morristown, New Jersey house.

The ex pair, who are the parents to son Kevin Hunter Jr., also shared a production company.
