Question of the week: Can a smart fork really aid weight loss?
It #39;s CES (Consumer Electronics Show) time of year and in continuing with our weight loss obsession, we couldn #39;t resist taking a look at this gadget world first; a smart fork. Last week we asked which scientific advancement in 2012 was the most groundbreaking. For the first time we had a tie it seems both NASA #39;s Mars Rover and CERN #39;s particle physics breakthrough captured your attention. For this week #39;s question we head to Las Vegas and visit the Consumer Electronics Show to check out a world first, the HAPIfork, a smart utensil that claims to aid weight loss. According to HAPILABS the smart electronic fork records your eating habits collating the information online and during meals helps you control how fast and how much you eat using light and vibration indicators.
