Exipure is a dietary blend that is in high demand ever since it was launched. According to the official website, it is a weight regulating and metabolic boosting formula that comes in capsular form. Making it a part of your life makes it easy for the body to process extra fat and use it to generate energy, even without dieting or exercise.

The natural ingredients inside Exipure make it a safe choice, even for the long term, while most synthetic diet pills turn out unsafe. Read this Exipure review to know what is inside it and how it helps in weight loss.

Exipure Review

The increasing obesity trends have worried everyone, including the health experts who are trying to find new solutions to tackle this issue. From time to time, a new type of weight loss gets popular, or a customized exercise for fat burn is introduced. In addition to that, the market is full of products offering weight-loss benefits, including pills, teas, serums, tonics, and even creams. While exercise and diet are the two most commonly used ways to regulate weight, burning in heat may sometimes cause weight gain. So a little knowledge of how weight loss works inside the body would help make better decisions.

Brown fat is a particular type of fat that accumulates in humans. There is still so much unknown on brown fat or brown adipose tissue, but scientists are sure about its link in weight loss. Some of these studies have established that brown fat is more common in lean people while obese people lack it. This evidence suggests that brown fat could help create special obesity treatments, such as changing the typical white fat into brown fat and losing a substantial amount of calories.

Exipure is a new weight loss support formula that helps melt fat, using plant-based ingredients in its formula. Based on information shared online, it helps burn fat faster and shows faster weight loss, typically shown within four to eight weeks.

How Does Exipure Work?

The only reason Exipure seems to have such a positive effect on the body is that the creators use eight specific ingredients at clinically-effective dosages. These plants and herb extracts target the brown adipose tissue that already exists in every lean body. With constant research regarding how Brown adipose tissues(BAT) works in the body, the exponentially faster calorie burning has led many companies to seek out ways to use it to their advantage. Exipure has a unique concoction to take advantage of the calorie deficit created by their remedy, ensuring that users constantly have a calorie deficit.

If you have low BAT levels, then youre more likely to be obese. Meanwhile, people with high levels of BAT tend to be leaner. BAT burns calories 300 times faster than regular fat. Lean people have a fat burning furnace inside of them, while obese people do not. This BAT burns 24/7 to reduce your caloric intake, making it easier to burn fat and lose weight.

Exipure is a blend of eight herbs and plant extracts that works to increase your bodys BAT. As mentioned, BAT is a constant fat-burning furnace thats hidden in every lean individual. Many studies have shown that BAT can help you lose weight. It can burn 300x more calories per hour than normal fat cells. This allows users to burn calories while maintaining a low caloric intake.

Exipure can change your life. Its unlike any other product that youve ever tried. Exipure is the only product available on the market with a unique blend of 8 nutrients and plants. This targets low brown adipose tissue (BAT) which is the root cause for your unexplained weight gain.

A slight increase in BAT can result in a significant increase in the bodys ability to burn calories and fat. BAT can also increase energy levels. Exipure can increase metabolism and increase energy levels through increased brown adipose tissue.

What to Know About Exipure Pills?

Exipure is a dietary blend that comes in capsule form. According to the official website, it helps burn stubborn belly fat fast, without requiring a special diet or exercise. It targets the actual cause of obesity and uses its natural ingredients to fix them. As a result, the body starts maintaining a healthy weight, and it continues even when you stop using the supplement.

Unlike other diet pills, Exipure focuses on a different aspect of obesity. It works on brown adipose tissue (BAT), also called brown fat, to lose weight, which is considered the real reason for fat layering. That is why you do not need to follow a diet plan or exercise routine to make it work, and it will help without needing these things. Melting and utilization of brown adipose fat burns calories nearly 300 times more than white fat, and it feels like a furnace is working inside the body. This remains the same even when you eat a regular diet, but start using Exipure with controlled calories and lose weight fast for better results.

Exipure comes in easy-to-use capsule form, which makes it super convenient to use. There are 30 capsules in every pack, and this one pack is enough for the whole month. Take one capsule with water every day to lose weight. If possible, control your diet and adopt a healthy lifestyle for speeding up and maintaining these weight loss results.

Weight Loss With Exipure Pills

Exipure pills contain eight natural ingredients inside, each with proven health benefits, especially for metabolism. They work together as a formula to melt the stubborn brown adipose tissues. As previously explained, brown adipose tissues are common in all obese patients, and lean bodies rarely have it. Plus, there are so many studies that show its link with weight loss, as it burns more calories than average fat melting.

Exipure is a perfect blend of eight plant and herbal extracts that work to increase BAT levels in the body. As mentioned earlier, BAT is a constant fat-burning furnace concealed inside every lean person. Several studies link BAT to weight loss because it can burn 300 times more calories than standard fat cells. This allows users to maintain a caloric deficit while burning calories inside them at all times.

This is not something you experience with typical, over-the-counter fat burners. The proprietary blend of eight unique ingredients in Exipure empowers it to burn layered fat that is impossible to lose with diet and exercise alone. Once the BAT levels start to lower, even the most stubborn body fat is also lost.

If you are one of those who do not lose weight, try Exipure pills and see how it works on you no matter what they do. Weight loss is just one benefit of this formula; its ingredients also improve stamina and strength and keep the body active with a controlled appetite all day long.

Some Exipure reviews shared by the users also reveal how they have been using this supplement for maintaining the results after reaching the target weight once. For more information on how to use Exipure pills, visit the official website here and read customer reviews.

Information on Exipure Ingredients

Exipure uses eight ingredients to make up for all its benefits. These ingredients are obtained from the purest plant-based sources leaving no mark on their quality. Although the website does not exclusively mention these sources, you can ask for these details from the company if you have concerns.

Here is a list of all Exipure ingredients and their benefits in weight loss.

Perilla: the first name in Exipure ingredients is perilla, which improves white fat to BAT conversion, offers cognitive health, and promotes a healthy lipid profile.

Holy Basil: next on this list is basil, which improves BAT levels in the body. It also relieves stress, inflammation, and other factors that make metabolism slow. Some studies also suggest its role in improving liver health, cognition, and immunity.

White Korean Ginseng: also famous as Panax ginseng, this Exipure ingredient increases the brown adipose tissue levels in the body while improving immunity and cognitive functions.

Amur Cork Bark: not a very popular ingredient, but this medicinal bark carries significant benefits for weight loss. It also improves digestion, controls appetite, and prevents bloating.

Quercetin: this ingredient actively affects BAT levels, and it also regulates healthy blood pressure, delays aging, and maintains immunity. It is often added in various health-boosting supplements for these benefits, but if you are using Exipure, no need to use an additional supplement to get quercetin.

Oleuropein: it is a part of olive oil, and there are numerous studies suggesting its role in improving arterial health. It regulates cholesterol levels, improves cardiovascular health, and prevents heart diseases.

There are no artificial ingredients or hidden components in the Exipure formula. All these ingredients have proven benefits for health, and nothing inside it can induce a side effect. But it is not a reason to misuse this product, and like other medicines and supplements, it should be misused.

Do not use Exipure if you are taking prescription-based medicines. If you are prescribed medication and interested in using a dietary supplement, talk to your doctor first and discuss safety.

How Much Time Does Exipure Take to Lose Weight?

To answer this question, one has to understand metabolism and how it affects weight loss. The information shared on the official website states its effects could be different on all users. Everybody is different from the other, and the body systems, including metabolism and all factors governing it, could also be changed. Therefore, it is not possible for all of them to experience the same results even if they are using the same product for the same time. Still, the results are close to each other.

The testimonials shared online reveal that one user was able to lose nearly 35 pounds of weight without compromising on energy levels and cognitive functions. He calls this experience easy and less frustrating than following a diet plan. Likewise, another user shares how he lost 26 pounds with Exipure pills, and with this weight loss, he has started to feel young again. The success stories sound so promising and give more reasons to believe this supplement can make you achieve your target weight.

The companys sales page promotes it, calling it a five-second exotic hack to melt stubborn fat layers. After reading Exipure customer reviews, it feels true too, and the high sales of Exipure are also proof that people trust it for losing weight.

Remember, Exipure is not a magical solution for your obesity and would need a certain time to show the results. Be consistent in using Exipure pills along with basic dietary and lifestyle changes to get these results fast.

Is Exipure Safe?

The company has already shared everything regarding the supplement, including the formula, ingredients list, daily values, manufacturing details, and other information. It is not possible for any of its ingredients to go wrong for a user or cause any undesirable effect unless the product is misused. Plants have a centuries-old history of medicinal usage, and they are still used in various treatments. The availability of modern medicines does not make plant-based medicines any less effective. In fact, both natural and synthetic medicines can cause side effects if used wrong.

The company has shared complete usage guidelines on the official website and advises all users to follow them. Taking more than the daily dosage would not bring any benefit; in fact, overdosing is linked with various side effects, many of which could make you rush to a hospital emergency. Never combine medicines and supplements or supplements with alcohol. These interactions are very dangerous and leave long-term effects on health.

Where To Buy Exipure Pills? Price and Availability Information

Exipure is only available online, and you can book your orders through the official website (exipure.com). There are no partners or resellers of this product, so your chances of finding it locally are zero.

The actual price of the Exipure supplement was over $100, but it is currently available for a discounted price as low as $39 only. The company also offers bundle packs that give an even better discount on the actual price.

One bottle of Exipure lasts for one month, and you need at least three bottles to work to see a difference in your weight. Do not take more than one capsule per day and if you forget to take it, never double the dose the next day.

7 of the Best Weight Loss Meal Plans for Women in 2022 – Healthline

Posted: May 20, 2022 at 1:45 am

Its important to keep a few factors in mind when selecting the meal plan thats right for you.

For starters, be sure to consider your personal needs and preferences.

While some people may enjoy structured diet programs, others might prefer plans that are a bit more flexible.

Certain meal plans may also require more time and effort than others, which can be an important consideration for women who might not want to measure portion sizes or track their food intake.

Be sure to avoid diets that eliminate entire food groups or are overly restrictive. Not only are these meal plans more difficult to follow long-term, but they can also make it much more difficult to get all the nutrients you need.

Finally, be sure to talk with a healthcare professional before making any big changes to your diet. This is especially important if you have any underlying health conditions or are taking any medications.

PlateJoy is an app that helps simplify weight loss by providing custom meal plans and recipes tailored to your needs.

After you answer a series of questions about your diet, lifestyle, and health goals, PlateJoy builds a personalized menu for you and your household.

It also provides optimized grocery lists based on your meal plan. You can order the groceries and have them delivered directly to your door using a third-party delivery service.

In addition to adjusting the portion sizes automatically to fit your weight loss goals, PlateJoy makes it easy to prepare more tasty and nutritious homemade meals.

Studies show that eating more homemade meals could be associated with improved diet quality and reductions in body weight and body fat (1, 2, 3).

Additionally, one study found that adults who ate only home-cooked meals had 26% lower odds of obesity than those who did not eat any home-cooked meals (4).

While the app typically costs $12.99 per month, Healthline readers can subscribe to PlateJoy for just $4.99 per month.

Not sure if PlateJoy is for you? See what Healthline editor and registered dietitian Kelli McGrane, MS, thought of PlateJoy in this comprehensive hands-on review.

Plant-based diets consist mostly of foods derived from plants, such as fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds, and legumes.

Animal products meat, fish, poultry, eggs, and dairy are also sometimes included in small amounts.

Several studies have suggested that following a plant-based diet could be an effective strategy for helping reduce body fat (5, 6).

One review found that people who followed a plant-based diet experienced less weight gain over 4 years than those who followed other diets (7).

Additionally, eating more fruits and vegetables, both of which are key components of a plant-based diet, has been linked to increased weight loss and decreased belly fat (8, 9).

Not only that, but some research in women has found that eating more fruits and vegetables may be linked to a lower risk of obesity and weight gain (10, 11).

For more information about following a plant-based diet, check out The Plant-Based Diet for Beginners by Alice Newman, which includes a sample 21-day meal plan to help you get started.

You can also check out our whole foods, plant-based diet guide.

Low carb diets involve limiting your consumption of added sugars and foods high in carbohydrates, such as grains and starches.

Although there are various types of low carb diets, most restrict carb consumption to less than 26% of your total daily calories (12).

A review of 17 studies found that low carb diets were more effective for short-term weight loss than low fat diets, although the difference between the two slowly decreased over time (13).

Some research also suggests that low carb diets could increase the number of calories your body burns throughout the day, which may contribute to weight loss (14, 15).

Whats more, other studies have found that low carb diets may offer some benefits specifically for women, including improvements in hormone levels and menstrual regularity (16).

However, keep in mind that very low carb diets may not be a good fit for everyone, especially women who have certain medical conditions or are pregnant or breastfeeding (17).

If you find that a very low carb diet is too restrictive or difficult to follow, you may want to consider trying a moderately low carb diet with 3644% of calories from carbs instead (12).

WW is a popular weight loss program that was founded in the 1960s.

It uses a points system, which assigns foods a certain number of points based on their nutritional value and gives users a daily budget of PersonalPoints.

It also encourages regular physical activity, provides various workout guides specifically for women, and offers options like group workshops and personal coaching for an additional fee.

Plus, it helps teach you how to make healthier food choices, so it may be a good fit for women seeking long-term, sustainable weight loss.

One large review of 39 studies found that people who used WW for 1 year lost 2.6% more body weight than a control group (18).

Another study showed that people who followed WW for 1 year lost more than twice as much weight as those who received a self-help booklet and 5 minutes of general nutrition advice.

The WW group also maintained a greater overall weight loss than the control group, even after 2 years (19).

However, keep in mind that this study was partially funded by WW, though the researchers note that this did not affect the design, analysis, or final results of the study (19).

WW offers several plans, starting at $22.95 per month. It also provides several sample meal plans and a variety of recipes on the WW website and app.

The Dietary Approaches to Stop Hypertension (DASH) diet is an eating plan designed to help lower blood pressure levels.

The diet encourages eating fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and lean protein sources while limiting red meats and foods high in added sugar or salt.

Not only has the DASH diet been shown to improve heart health, but some research suggests that it may help facilitate weight loss as well (20).

One study in 293 female nurses found that greater adherence to the DASH diet was associated with a lower risk of obesity and excess belly fat (21).

A review of 13 studies also found that people following the DASH diet lost significantly more body weight and belly fat in 24 weeks than a control group (22).

In another study, older adults who followed a low calorie DASH diet for 12 weeks experienced a 6.3% reduction in body weight and a 2.5% decrease in body fat percentage (23).

You can read more about the DASH diet in The Complete DASH Diet for Beginners by Jennifer Koslo, which includes two 7-day meal plans with shopping lists and 75 heart-healthy recipes.

Based on the traditional diets of countries such as Spain, Greece, and Italy, the Mediterranean diet is often considered one of the healthiest eating patterns.

Though it isnt as structured as many other plans and doesnt have any strict rules or regulations, the Mediterranean diet scored our top spot as the easiest meal plan to follow because its simple, sustainable, and not overly restrictive.

The diet involves eating lots of fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds, whole grains, and healthy fats such as olive oil.

As part of this diet, processed foods, sugar-sweetened beverages, red meat, and refined grains should be limited.

Several studies suggest that greater adherence to the Mediterranean diet is tied to a lower risk of weight gain and abdominal obesity and a greater likelihood of weight loss maintenance (24, 25, 26).

If youre interested in learning more, check out The Complete Mediterranean Diet by Dr. Michael Ozner, which provides a 2-week meal plan and 500 nutritious recipes to try making at home.

How Testosterone Replacement Therapy Is Transforming Aging – GQ

Posted: May 20, 2022 at 1:44 am

Those are just the well-known men who have talked about hormone therapies, of course. Speculation surrounds middle-aged rich guys like Jeff Bezos, who is rumored to be an investor in a buzzed-about anti-aging startup and seems to be aging in reverse into Billionaire Mr. Clean, with viral fit pics to match. (For the record, people close to Bezos attribute his transformation strictly to diet and exercise.)

In any case, it's not just the rich and famous: Doctor-approved doping is gaining ground among the everyday guy.

Youd be surprised with how many people are on hormone therapies, says Dr. Jessie Cheung, a dermatologist whose focus, in part, is on these treatments. You look, feel, perform, think, recover, and age better.

Testosterone is associated with physical changes like muscle growth and mental changes like confidence and aggression, though there is robust debate over the extent to which those effects should be understood as masculine, to what extent theyre shaped by existing social context, and whether these therapies show effects at a population level.

In any case, men are seeking these mental and physical changes, and Dr. Cameron Sepah, a professor of psychiatry at the school of medicine at the University of California, San Francisco, has noticed the uptick in popularity. Hes a clinician first, but has something of a vested interest as CEO of Maximus, which offers personalized treatment plans (a monthly membership is $149.99) to help men double their testosterone levels. Maximus men, Sepah claims, report having more energy, motivation, drive, and confidence.

They dont have the need for that afternoon nap anymore when they get sluggish toward the end of the day, he says.

Chris Jones, who joined Maximus about a year ago, is 39 and works as an attorney in Los Angeles. When the pandemic hit, Jones became interested in assessing his overall health. While he says he never felt particularly tired or off-balance, he also had never taken a testosterone test, and was surprised to see that his total level was 260 ng/dL.

Since popping the enclomiphene, Jones says his level has jumped to 730. I definitely feel more energy, more calm, more focus, he says. Just overall stronger and better. The naps and extra cups of coffee he occasionally needed in the afternoons have tapered off. And his verticalJones works with a dunk trainerhas gone up eight inches.

While testosterone therapy provides benefits, some doctors will caution against turning to testosterone replacement right away if youre feeling fatigued or less potent in the bedroom.

Theres all these lifestyle factors that will cause low testosterone or sort of simulate low-testosterone symptoms, says Dr. Kenneth Litwin, a physician who works with Fitzgerald at the Sandy Hook Clinic in Connecticut. If you help the person to identify that and help them work on all those things, they may never need testosterone.

Thats because testosterone levels can be affected by many factors. Getting eight hours of sleep or correcting a nutritional deficiency, like a low level of vitamin D, will restore your testosterone to its natural baseline. Strength training, looking for ways to decrease stress, and cutting out smoking are also key.

Recent research has confirmed that eating healthy foods and living an active lifestyle are still greatly important in healthy weight loss. However, some experts are looking into the reasons behind why some people struggle to keep off their weight loss after all their hard work. And what they've found is that your mindset may play a larger role than you would think!

After, for more healthy weight loss tips check out 9 High-Protein Breakfast Ideas to Help You Lose Weight.

This one may seem fairly obvious, but it's important to remember that weight loss and management do involve a balance of calories you take in and calories you burn.

According to Harvard Health, this is an important part of the weight loss journey. They have found that in order to truly lose weight and keep it off, you'll need to focus on spending more energy than what you take in. Making sure you get enough fruits and vegetables in your diet is important for multiple aspects of your health. For example, the nutrients, minerals, and fiber found in produce can help you maintain a healthy gut, improve your heart health, and help you lose weight and maintain weight loss.

According to an article published in Nutrients, there is a relationship between increased vegetable intake and a reduced risk of gaining weight or obesity.

According to Harvard Health, research confirms that some of the most effective weight loss and management strategies are related to your mindset. For example, things like self-regulation, self-moderation, and self-efficacy have high value in your weight loss journey.

According to a study published in Obesity Reviews, while things like healthy eating and exercise obviously play a role in weight loss and keeping weight off, focusing on your goals and staying internally motivated are crucial to a sustainable, long-term experience.

The process of losing weight or dieting can oftentimes bring shame or guilt to many of us, especially if it's a strict diet or eating plan with heavy restrictions. Because these diets are often not sustainable, we can feel guilty or ashamed if we break them or gain the weight back.

Working to shift our mindset toward more kindness toward ourselves and feeling proud of what we've accomplished is a key to healthy weight loss, and research backs this up. Harvard Health states, "most of them stayed motivated by reflecting on their improved health and appearance at their lower weight."

According to experts at Harvard Health, the concept of getting comfortable with discomfort can help in the weight management process. In their gathering of research, they discovered that things like sometimes feeling hungry, changing stress-eating behaviors, and sometimes resisting cravings of certain foods are all behaviors that can help lead to sustained weight management in a healthy way.6254a4d1642c605c54bf1cab17d50f1e

Weight Loss: Eating from blue plates and other bizarre diet tricks – Times of India

It is said that eating in front of a mirror, makes you self-conscious and reminds you of your weight-loss goals, thereby making you eat within limits. One study found dining in front of mirrors cut the amount people ate by nearly one-third. Apart from controlling your portion, the mirror is especially helpful if you are going to eat something high on calories.

In a taste test study, published in the Journal of the Association for Consumer Research, 185 undergraduate students chose between a chocolate cake and a fruit salad and then evaluated its taste in a room with a mirror or with no mirrors around. Those who selected the chocolate cake rated it less tasty in the room with a mirror compared to those with no mirrors around. Interestingly, too, the presence of a mirror did not change the taste of the fruit salad.

Successful Weight Loss: Scientists Show That It Might All Be in Your Head – SciTechDaily

Wake Forest University School of Medicine researchers discovered that two specific brain networks can greatly impact how successful a person is at losing weight.

According to the studys principal investigator, Dr. Jonathan Burdette, professor of radiology at Wake Forest University School of Medicine, these findings, published in the April edition of the journal Obesity, may eventually aid in the development of tailored behavior-based treatments that target specific brain circuitry to aid in weight loss.

The goal of this study was to determine whether the degree of weight loss after six months of a behavior-based intervention was related to connectivity within two functional networks (FNs), FN1 and FN2, in a group of older adults with obesity. Functional brain networks are areas of the brain that are working together in sync.

FN1 and FN2 were first identified by Burdette and his team in 2018 as being involved in successful weight loss.

These findings show that the brain network properties of people who were less successful at weight loss were different from folks who were more successful. Dr. Jonathan Burdette

In this study, 71 participants enrolled in a randomized weight-loss clinical trial were scanned at the beginning of the trial with functional magnetic resonance imaging to determine if FN1 and FN2 would be predictive of weight loss and if so how. Participants were scanned during a resting state and then again after receiving a food-cue task. At the end of the six-month trial, the data were then analyzed to compare the relationships between the baseline networks and the change in the participants weight.

Burdettes team found that during the resting state the relationship of brain function in FN1, which involves sensory and motor skills, was significantly associated with six-month weight loss. During the food-cue state, six-month weight loss was significantly associated with FN2, which includes self-regulation and the ability to focus attention.

Two distinct brain network biases are related to the degree of success with weight loss: within the resting state, there is a sensory motor motivational bias to pursue food, whereas when processing food cues, there is a deficit in the executive control and attention network.

These findings show that the brain network properties of people who were less successful at weight loss were different from folks who were more successful, Burdette said. Some people have a stronger unconscious sensory motor bias to pursue food, while others appear to have less. In a society of food abundance with food cues everywhere, this information can help explain why some people have such difficulty in taking off excess weight and maintaining it.

This is the first study to link key concepts that have been identified as important in understanding obesity and overeating to success with behavioral weight loss among older adults with obesity.

Our findings provide further insight into complex functional circuits in the brain so we now have a mechanistic understanding of why people arent losing weight, Burdette said. In theory, if you know more about urges and control, we will be able to tailor therapies to an individual as opposed to treating everyone the same.

Funding for the study was provided by the Institute on Aging (R01AG051624-03S2); the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (R18 HL076441); the NationalInstitute on Aging (P30 AG021332), the National Institute of Biomedical Imaging and Bioengineering (R01EB024559), and the Wake Forest Clinical and Translational Science Institute (UL1TR001420).

Well walk you through how protein powder works for weight loss, choosing the right product, and finally, incorporating it into a weight loss shake.

Protein powders are not all made alike. Its confusing when standing in a health food store or browsing online. How can you know which one is the best? The answer is what makes protein powders different!

Protein Bases

Protein powders can be made with plant based protein or whey protein. sPlant-based powders' protein comes from multiple sources, including peas, soy, chia, quinoa, hemp, and rice. Whey protein isnt vegan, as it contains lactose. Therefore, selecting the protein base you want is essential.

Protein Extraction Method

You also want to consider how the protein was extracted. For instance, whey protein concentrate is different from whey protein isolate because the concentrate version contains a small percentage of fats and carbs in the mix. In contrast, the isolate version is more condensed at about 90-95 percent protein. Then theres also whey protein hydrolysate, a more digestible way to consume protein and micellar casein, which releases protein slowly throughout the day or night.

Ingredient Lists

Also, choose a protein powder with an ingredient list you feel good about putting in your body. Often, protein powders include other additives that you may like the taste but not the impact. These can consist of artificial sweeteners, artificial flavoring, thickening agents, dairy, gluten, or preservatives; however, blends can also have added vitamins, minerals, or natural flavoring that do improve them. Always look at the nutrition facts to see whats in your protein powder. Finding a brand you trust that puts your health and fitness goals first ensures youll have an easy time picking your products in the future.

Now you know about the different types of protein powder and how to choose your product, but why exactly do you need protein in the first place? What does it do, and does it help with weight loss?

Protein is a macronutrient found in foods that your body uses as an energy source and as a way to keep your bones and muscles healthy and strong. Protein builds muscles, making it a great addition to your diet when youre strength training. But protein also builds and repairs your bones and tissues, so even if you arent getting enough exercise, you still need protein for the strength and durability of your limbs. Protein powder is a fantastic way to ensure youre getting enough protein each day.

Protein helps with weight loss in various ways, and one of the most delicious methods for getting your protein powder intake is to blend your weight loss protein powder into a shake. First, choose a protein powder specifically formulated to offer weight loss support through carefully selected ingredients and low calories (and no artificial sweeteners or fillers). You can then blend it with nutrient-rich foods like fruits, veggies, oats, and nut butter.

Weight loss shakes made with protein powder work for a few different reasons, according to how protein helps. First, protein suppresses appetite the most by quashing the hunger hormone out of the three macronutrients (protein, fats, and carbs). Feeling other hunger cravings between meals is an easy way to fill up with the wrong kinds of foods accidentally. And since protein powder increases muscle mass over time (which increases your resting metabolism), it helps you get to a point where youre burning more calories due to your bodys composition. Not only that, but eating lots of protein allows you to burn off more carbs and fats, so you dont store weight.

Weight loss shakes work because they utilize the power of protein, a substance that helps to decrease your hunger and increase your metabolism so you can accelerate your weight loss. Sipping on delicious protein powder shakes each day is an enjoyable and effective way to boost your weight loss results.

The Eating Habit James Corden Swears By That Helped Him Lose Weight Eat This Not That – Eat This, Not That

Posted: May 20, 2022 at 1:44 am

A jack of all trades, James Corden is mostly known for his acting career and hosting his late-night talk show where he jams out to carpool karaoke with celebrities and reenacts musicals on crosswalks. His comedic personality is what shines, however, he has been making news for his incredible weight loss journey.

Recently, the British icon has had a six-stone weight loss. Each stone is equivalent to 14 pounds, totaling Corden's weight loss to about 84 pounds. How does he do it? According to his interview with The Sun, Corden limits his eating to a timeframe.

Restricting your eating timeframe is also referred to as intermittent fasting. Specifically, Corden uses daily time-restricted fasting, which allows him to eat normally, but only within a window of time per day.

"I don't eat until 12," he tells The Sun.

Along with this fasting method, Corden tries to eat cleanly. During the interview, he was seen drinking a 15-calorie, sugar-free, health drink loaded with vitamins, and announced he ate an apple that morning.

However, although he chooses healthier options, Corden stresses the importance of still enjoying foods and not restricting the types of food he eats.

"I try to eat healthily and not deprive myself," he tells The Sun.

Corden continues to say that he does not like the mentality of dieting, as it feels limited. According to him, the idea of going on a diet is "everything that is wrong" because you are most likely going to return to how you were before.

In the past, Corden has talked about losing weight through WW (formerly known as Weight Watchers). Now, he is partnering with the company because he has enjoyed the WW process.6254a4d1642c605c54bf1cab17d50f1e

Corden believes that in the WW program, you don't have to cut any foods out. Instead, you're becoming aware of what you're adding to your body. This makes you think before you eat, trying not to eat foods with too many ingredients. Because of this, you can have a bad week and not beat yourself up about it. Instead, you know not to revert to the eating habits you had that week.

Along with the eating habits that helped him lose weight, Corden boxes with his trainer most mornings. He also recently completed a four-day transcendental meditation course allowing him to settle his body down to a "state of restful alertness".

"You do a course, then at the end of it, you have these tools where, every day, you give yourself 20 minutes of silence to let your thoughts be whatever they are, and I've found that very, very beneficial," Corden was quoted to say.

Lori Harvey Says She Was Eating 1,200 Calories Per Day to Lose Weight Here’s Why That’s Not OK – POPSUGAR

For a while now, the diet industry has recommended eating 1,200 calories a day to lose weight. And despite a larger societal shift to denounce diet culture, this number has seemed to stick around. Many "what I eat in a day" TikTok videos show influencers eating this amount. Diet plans like Noom restrict their clients to 1,200 calories a day. And celebrities like Lori Harvey openly speak out about only consuming 1,200 calories as their way to lose weight.

In a recent TikTok video, which has reached almost 1.5 million views, the 25-year-old celeb and model talked about how she gained "relationship weight" when she first started dating Michael B. Jordan. She then went on to explain how she lost that weight and "got the body" everyone has since been obsessing over.

Heres the tea! #pilates #fitness #workoutroutine #bodygoal #fyp

"So I've been consistently doing Pilates for like the last year. I've done it for a few years, but I've been really consistent the last year. And when I was trying to drop weight, I was working out like five, six times a week, and I would even do, for the first month and a half, I would even do two-a-days," Harvey says. "I think I was consuming like 1,200 calories in a day, max. I was trying to do like meat and veggies and like minimal carbs."

Absolutely not. For starters, 1,200 calories per day is the recommended intake for toddlers. The average adult needs between 1,600 and 3,200 calories per day, according to the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. This range depends on various factors, including your typical activity level, how often you're working out, your age, etc. Even the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics notes that "if you are very active throughout the day, the high end of the range may be more reflective of your needs." Based on Harvey's two-a-day workouts, it's very possible she would be on the higher end of that range and need to be eating much more than 1,200 calories.

Your body needs a sufficient number of calories to function properly, and when you aren't getting enough, it can leave you feeling physically and mentally fatigued, constipated, and deficient in vital nutrients, according to the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.

On her social media platforms, registered dietician Abbey Sharp has openly spoken up about diet culture's obsession with eating only 1,200 calories a day and the danger that comes with it. "Cutting your energy needs to 1200 calories a day (or less!) is grossly insufficient and unsustainable for long term weight loss," she wrote in an Instagram post. Drastically restricting your calorie intake may result in short-term weight loss, but it's not sustainable in the long run. In fact, one study shows that when you go on any sort of diet at all (whether it restricts calories or specific groups of foods), they often result in even greater weight gain.

In addition to the low number of calories, let's also talk about how Harvey (along with many other celebs) love demonizing carbohydrates, the macronutrients that give your body energy. Even Kim Kardashian recently made headlines for not eating carbs ahead of the Met Gala.

These types of conversations (plus all the popular low-carb diet plans out there) could be the reason why many people believe carbs are bad for you which is maybe the biggest myth perpetuated by the diet industry. Eliminating carbs from your diet can "put you at risk for fatigue, osteoporosis, or even neurological damage," Kim Rose, RDN, previously told POPSUGAR. Of course, "anything consumed in excess could result in weight gain," she said, but if you want to lose weight, carbs which are found in tons of healthful, nutrient-dense foods, such as fruits and whole grains can actually be beneficial. Carbs act as fuel that not only helps you maintain energy throughout your day (and Pilates workouts) but also supports all the important bodily processes that keep you healthy and allow you to live your life.

It's bad enough to encourage a super-low-calorie diet and continue to promote the idea that carbs are evil, but Harvey saying her recent weight gain was "not OK" might be even worse.

"When Mike and I got together, I gained like 15 pounds of relationship weight and it was horrible, none of my clothes fit, it was just not OK," she says in the TikTok video.

For anyone who needs a reminder, it absolutely is OK for your body weight to fluctuate during different periods of your life. What's important is that you love yourself through those fluctuations and when/if you want to make a change to your diet, you do so in a healthy and sustainable way.

That said, this isn't all on Harvey. Like the rest of us, she, too, has likely been warped by toxic diet culture and convinced that in order to lose weight, she must restrict her calories and work out excessively. But when celebrities like Harvey and the Kardashians promote unhealthy eating habits, it's just continuing the unfortunate cycle that the diet industry thrives on. The hype around the "1,200-calorie diet" won't go away unless people stop talking about it as if it's a good thing.

If you have questions about how much you're eating or the number of calories you need to be consuming, consult a dietitian or doctor who will be able to weigh in based on your personal needs. If a medical professional does advise you to lose weight, the best way "is to make practical, realistic changes you can stick with for life so that you can keep the pounds off," Erin Palinski-Wade, RD, CDE, previously told POPSUGAR.

A diet filled with carbs and enough calories to keep your body working well is the best thing you can do for yourself no matter what that number may be.
